Terms & Conditions of Entry - 2018

1. Entry Form and fees must be returned to the Secretary by Fri 11th May 2018. You may submit up to 3 entries.

2. Entry fee per Artwork $15 or $10 for Members (Membership Forms avail on website). Late entries will not be accepted.

3. Overall size of paintings must not exceed 1 Metre on any side.  A maximum of 10 kilos for all Artworks and 3D Works.

4. Hanging entries must be framed and mounted, and ready for hanging with D rings etc. 

5. All items must be for sale and clearly labelled on the back with artist’s name and number, title of the work, description, medium and price. (labels attached).   NOTE: No alteration of the title or price will be accepted. The signed entry form is binding and used to create the catalogue. Please title your artwork for identification purposes. (not ‘untitled’). 
6. Commission on Sales including Trading Table: 25%.  Members: 20%.  Provide Bank Details if you prefer direct deposit.
7. Works must be the original work of the artist. No photographs will be accepted. Works must not have been previously shown in any competition in Murrurundi. 
8.  The Judge’s decision is final. The organisers reserve the right to reject any work of art deemed unsuitable for exhibition. 
9. The organisers reserve the right to have any entries reproduced in the media.
10. All transport and insurance costs to/from and during the exhibition must be met by the exhibitor. ‘All care will be taken’ but no liability by the Murrurundi Arts & Crafts Council Inc will be accepted for loss or damage in transit, or while on exhibition.

11. Works must be no more than two years old. 

12. Entries to arrive: RSL Hall, Mayne Street, Murrurundi on Monday 21st May, between 2pm and 6pm or by prior arrangement with Murrurundi Information Centre. 

NOTE IN DIARY: Paintings to be collected between 12pm and 4pm on Monday 11th June 2018. Alternate arrangements can be made with Gilly 6546 6001 or Mandy 6546 6262 or in cooperation with the Mdi Info Centre.
13. Any unclaimed paintings remaining after one month will become the property of the Arts & Crafts Council.
14. Artists may be asked to volunteer for Door Duty for a half day (4 hour shifts) throughout the exhibition.
